Simin Shafiefar

Simin Shafiefar is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in youth settlement and program coordination. Currently serving as a Youth Settlement Specialist at Halton Multicultural Council Inc since August 2021, Simin focuses on supporting immigrant and refugee youth. Previously, from November 2019 to October 2020, Simin held the position of Senior Program Coordinator at Malvern Family Resource Centre, where responsibilities included supervising staff, overseeing project activities, and managing budgets. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Sociology from Université Laval and a Master's degree in Demography and Population Studies, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Allameh Tabataba'i University.
