Karen DiPeri has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Karen began their career in 2005 as President of Hospitality Marketing Group. In 2006 they founded DiPeri & Co - A Culinary Event Company and served as President. In 2012 they founded Farming Our Future - Growing Food, Farms and Community and served as Event Co-Chair. Karen was also a member of the 2018 Conference Planning Committee for the Society For Hospitality & Foodservice Management. From 2016-2021 they served on the Board of Directors and as President of the New York Staffing Association. In 2021 they began their role as Chief Marketing Officer at the Academy for Hospitality Arts. Currently, they serve as President of HMG Plus.
Karen DiPeri obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Hofstra University between 1985 and 1987. Karen also obtained a Certificate of completion in Business/Commerce, General from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses between 2013 and 2014. Additionally, in September 2013, they obtained WBE Certification (Woman-owned Business Enterprise) from the Department of Small Business Services.
