Dr. Annet Glas

Associate Director Clinical Development at HMNC Brain Health

Dr. Annet Glas has a diverse work experience starting with their current position as the Associate Director of Clinical Development at HMNC Brain Health. In this role, they manage the Cortibon program, plans clinical studies, oversees vendors and competitor analysis, and assists with business development. Prior to this, they held positions as a Senior Manager and Manager of Clinical Development at HMNC Brain Health.

Before joining HMNC, Dr. Glas worked as a Junior Associate at McKinsey & Company. Dr. Annet also has extensive research experience, including serving as a PhD Candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence, where they completed several research projects, published peer-reviewed papers, and developed innovative techniques and methods. Dr. Annet also worked as a Visiting Researcher at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and as an Assistant Teacher at Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Intern at Charité.

Dr. Annet Glas has a strong educational background in neuroscience. Dr. Annet obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences at LMU Munich in 2021, achieving a grade of 1.3 (sehr gut). Prior to this, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Neuroscience at Radboud University from 2013 to 2015. Dr. Glas also pursued an Advanced Course in Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet in 2012.

In terms of undergraduate education, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Biology from Radboud University, specializing in Science and Health, between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, they participated in the Radboud Honours Academy from 2010 to 2012, completing an Honours Bull in an interdisciplinary program.

Dr. Glas has further augmented their knowledge and skills with various certifications in the pharmaceutical industry and related fields. These include certifications in Clinical Project Management, In-Licensing and Out-Licensing in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Market Access and HTA, Pharmacovigilance, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Patenting in Biotechnology, Drug Development Product Management, Data Management for Clinical Research, Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials, Foundations of Project Management, and Foundations of Global Health Specialization. Dr. Annet also holds language certificates in French (B2 level) and German (C1 level).
