Pheng Vang, MBA

Pheng Vang, MBA has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Financial Advisor at Waddell & Reed in 2010, followed by a Loan Service Specialist at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. In 2011, they worked as a Financial Analyst at New York Life Insurance. In 2012, they took on the role of Revenue Tax Specialist Intermediate, Corporate Nexus Team at the Minnesota Department of Revenue. In 2013, they worked as a Sales Associate at Best Buy. In 2014, they became a Financial Analyst at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, where they were responsible for developing and implementing new financial policy, investigating Federal MAP 21 and Minnesota State Bonding requirements, developing and maintaining complex financial spreadsheets, and performing budget variance analysis. In 2016, they moved to the Hmong American Partnership as a Finance Director, where they were responsible for planning and development, program management and leadership, and reporting and evaluation. Finally, in 2020, they became the Financial Director at The Link Minnesota.

Pheng Vang holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Concordia College- Saint Paul, earned between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S in Business Management Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside between 2006 and 2009. Vang also holds a H.S. Diploma from Como Park High School, earned between 2001 and 2005.
