Dorothy Taylor

Dorothy Taylor is an experienced surveying professional with a diverse background in land surveying and geographic information systems. Currently serving as Survey Manager at HMT Engineering & Surveying since April 2017, Dorothy previously held the position of Managing RPLS at Tri-Tech, where management of Field Crews, RPLS, Draftsmen, and Administrative Professionals was key to providing efficient land surveying services. Earlier roles include Professional Land Surveyor at D.A. Mawyer Land Surveying, GIS Specialist at Stantec, and GIS Tech at Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative. Dorothy's career began as a Survey Tech/Cartographer at Bettersworth & Assoc., contributing to various projects from client consultation to producing survey plats. Dorothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science from Texas State University.
