Andrew Murphy Miet

Andrew Murphy MIET is a highly experienced project manager with a diverse background in engineering and project delivery across multiple sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at H&MV Engineering since January 2023, Andrew is leading the Buxton Waterswallows 30MW BESS project, overseeing site conversion and managing subcontractors. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager at the University of Sussex, Project Engineer at National Grid, and Project Delivery Manager at Ofcom, where significant responsibilities included the auction of Ministry of Defence spectrum. Andrew began a career in engineering with an apprenticeship at Ofcom after academic accomplishments that include a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of East Anglia and an HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Bedfordshire.
