Art Perera

Art Perera has extensive work experience in procurement and strategic sourcing.

Art is currently a Senior Director of Procurement at HNI Corporation since 2023, where they previously held the role of Director of Strategic Sourcing from 2022 to 2023.

Prior to that, they were a Senior Director of Global Procurement at Genus PLC from 2021 to 2022, and at Dematic from 2019 to 2021.

Art also served as a Director of Global Procurement at Owens & Minor from 2018 to 2019 and as a Strategic Sourcing Leader at Halyard Health from 2014 to 2018.

Before their roles in the corporate sector, Art Perera had a successful career in the US Air Force. Art served as a Purchasing Manager and Trainer from 2009 to 2011, a Procurement Branch Chief from 2007 to 2009, a Contracts and Procurement Manager from 2005 to 2007, a Contracts and Procurement Manager for commercial services and purchases from 2004 to 2005, and a Contracting and Procurement Branch Chief from 2003 to 2004.

Art Perera started their career in the Air Force in various Security Forces Supervisor positions from 1989 to 2001.

Art Perera earned an A.S. degree in Security Administration from the Community College of the Air Force in 1994. Art then pursued a B.S. degree in Management/Marketing at Park College from 1992 to 1995. Art continued their education at Cameron University, where they obtained an M.B.A. in Business Administration from 1996 to 2001.
