James Jen

James Jen has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security and IT consulting. James currently holds the position of Lead Network Cyber Security Engineer at Hoag Health System, where they have been working since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Cyber Security Engineer at the same company starting in April 2022. Before joining Hoag Health System, James was employed as a Data Security Administrator at AltaMed Health Services from May 2016 to February 2022. James also gained experience as an IT Consultant at Edney Consulting Services, Inc. from March 2010 to June 2015. Their earlier work experience includes a role as a Desktop Support Technician at CorpInfo from September 2007 to March 2008.

James Jen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. James also holds several certifications including Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), InsightVM Certified Administrator, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification.
