Ben Henson, CCM has extensive work experience in program development, project management, and engineering roles. Ben currently serves as the Vice President of Program Development at HPM since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Executive at HPM from April 2006 to June 2022, where they were responsible for managing capital building programs and implementing quality control measures for projects in the education, healthcare, and corporate sectors.
Before joining HPM, Ben worked at GE as a Senior Program Manager from 2001 to 2006. At Washington Group International, now part of URS Corporation, they held the position of Project Engineering Manager from 1995 to 2000. Earlier in their career, at GE Nuclear Energy, Ben served as a Project Manager from June 1992 to September 1995, overseeing in-vessel inspections and reactor modifications for commercial boiling water nuclear reactors in various locations including the US, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Japan. Ben'sproject experience included shroud repairs, jet pump ultra-high-pressure cleaning, access hole cover replacements, and weld sampling.
Ben Henson, CCM, received their Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Auburn University from 1988 to 1992. Ben also holds a certification as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
