Jim Czarnowski

Vice President Of Engineering at Hobie

Jim Czarnowski started their work experience in 1998 as the VP and General Manager at Invisible Structures, Inc., a manufacturer of environmentally sensitive construction products. Jim worked there until 2002. In 2002, they joined Hobie as the Director of Engineering, where they were involved in the manufacture of innovative watercraft. In 2017, they were promoted to Vice President of Engineering at Hobie.

Jim Czarnowski has a strong education background in engineering. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1991 to 1995. Jim then pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Ocean Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they also obtained another MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT during the same time period.
