Tim Burns

Tim Burns is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Project Engineer at Component Engineers Inc since March 2024. With a robust background in tool and machine design, Tim has previously held key roles at Hobson & Motzer, Inc. as a Tool Designer, and at American Tool & Manufacturing Corp. as a Machine Designer. Tim's expertise encompasses progressive die design, fixture design, gage design, and machine design, including automated systems. Earlier in career, Tim worked as a Project Manager & Design Engineer at Component Engineers Inc., managing diverse engineering projects. Tim began in the field as a Tool Designer at B-Tec Solutions, Inc. Tim holds an Associates Degree in Tool Design Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology and has additional education in Manufacturing Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
