Fabian Steeg

Fabian Steeg is an experienced software developer with a strong background in public data infrastructure and search technology. Currently serving at Hochschulbibliothekszentrum NRW (hbz) since July 2012, Fabian has contributed to the development of web APIs for linked open library data and has expertise in JSON-LD, Elasticsearch, and Play. Prior roles include software development at doo GmbH, where Fabian helped launch a document management software server backend, and a research associate position at the University of Cologne, where significant contributions were made to collaborative digitization projects and digital preservation frameworks. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts degree from the University of Cologne.
