Jonny Bruton

Jonny Bruton is a seasoned professional in sports coaching and management, currently serving as Department Manager for Sports and Physical Activity at Cope Foundation since August 2023. Jonny has been involved with Hockey Ireland as a freelance coach for the Munster region since November 2020, facilitating various development and high-performance programs. From July 2020, Jonny holds the position of CI Men's Head Coach and Director of Hockey Development at Garryduff Sports Centre. Jonny also contributed to British Gymnastics as a Performance and Education Officer for a brief period in 2023 and has been the business owner of Fitness Equipment Cork since June 2020. Jonny established SMART Training Gyms from June 2013 to April 2021, with a focus on wellness for busy professionals. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Applied Coaching from the University of Limerick, completed in September 2023.
