Kyle Barefoot

Kyle Barefoot has a diverse work experience in the engineering and project management field. Kyle started their career in the US Navy as a Naval Engineer, where they were responsible for managing and maintaining nuclear and mechanical engineering systems on an aircraft carrier. After leaving the Navy in 2018, Kyle joined MSS Solutions, LLC, where they held multiple roles including Project Manager, Service Manager, and Project Controls Lead. In these roles, they successfully managed projects, developed tools to improve project management efficiency, and led a team of technicians and coordinators in the commercial HVAC service market. Currently, Kyle is working as a Project Engineer at Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc.

Kyle Barefoot earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 2005 to 2009. Kyle then pursued further education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2017 to 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kyle Barefoot obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2020. Furthermore, they also underwent training at the Navy Nuclear Power Training Unit and the Nuclear Power School - Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) in 2012.
