Geraldine Hart held various key roles in law enforcement and public safety. Geraldine started in 2015 as the Senior Supervisory Resident Agent at the FBI, where they led the Long Island office. In 2018, they became the Suffolk County Police Commissioner, overseeing a large department. Most recently, they joined Hofstra University in 2021 as the Director of Public Safety, eventually becoming the Associate Vice President of Public Safety and Community Engagement in 2022. Throughout their career, they demonstrated strong leadership and community engagement skills.

Geraldine Hart obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History from Saint Francis University in 1989. Geraldine then went on to earn a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from St. John's University School of Law between 1992 and 1995.
