Miguel Arroyo

Miguel Arroyo has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Miguel is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at Hoken since January 2023. Before that, they worked as a Product Manager/Product Designer at an Independent Consultancy between November 2022 and January 2023.

From July 2020 to September 2022, Miguel was the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Vest, where they led the engineering and design efforts for developing an app that democratizes stock investments in LATAM. Miguel successfully launched the app and achieved significant user engagement and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Prior to that, Miguel co-founded Stockbets, Inc in May 2020, where they played a key role until November 2020. Miguel also worked as a Product Designer at Credijusto.com from July 2019 to April 2020, leading the design of a client-facing platform for loan management and creating the company's design system.

In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Miguel co-founded Mazing Studio in March 2016, where they led the design and front-end decisions for the studio. Miguel successfully designed and managed Koin, a smart-wallet and expense tracker app. Miguel gained freelance product design experience at mostrohouse from April 2013 to March 2016.

Before their entrepreneurial journey, Miguel worked as a Senior Design Technologist at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas A.C. from January 2014 to January 2015. Miguel also served as a Design Technologist at Astrata Software from December 2010 to March 2013, and as a Web Designer at Infotec from 2007 to December 2009.

Miguel Arroyo received their Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Miguel pursued this degree from 2000 to 2004.
