Dr. Ernst-Michael Sipple

Dr. Ernst-Michael Sipple serves as the Global Head of Cement Quality & Environment and Lead Engineer for the "Plants of Tomorrow" Initiative at Holcim since June 2022. With extensive experience in the cement industry, previous roles include Global Leader of Process Engineering at CRH and Directeur Procédés Ciment at EQIOM, where significant EU innovation funding was secured. Prior positions at Holcim involved leadership in quality, mining, and geology across the Middle East and Africa, as well as regional environmental management in Europe. Dr. Sipple's educational background includes a doctorate in Physical Chemistry from Université de Bourgogne and specialized management training from IMD and the University of St. Gallen.
