Ram Muthu

Ram Muthu has extensive experience in the fields of operational excellence and corporate strategy, currently serving as the Head of Operational Excellence and Group Strategy at Holcim since August 2005. In this role, Ram Muthu oversees various functions including cement manufacturing, decarbonisation, geocycle, procurement, logistics, investments, and trading. Prior to this, Ram Muthu was the Head of Strategy for the Holcim Group and Vice President of the CEO Office at LafargeHolcim, where leadership of the corporate strategy team was key. Previous positions include Project Manager for manufacturing transformation in India and energy activation projects, as well as various roles in financial management at Ambuja Cements Ltd. Ram Muthu holds a Chartered Accountant degree from ACCA and a B.Sc. in Industrial Economics from the University of Warwick.
