Graeme Wilson has extensive work experience in the insurance and technology industry. Graeme started their career in various analyst, project management, and implementation roles. In 2008, they co-founded and managed an insurance technology consultancy called 3CA, where they led the development of business partnerships and the delivery of comprehensive strategies. Graeme then worked as a project manager and business consultant at IAG before joining Macquarie Bank as a senior project manager.
Wilson joined QBE Insurance in 2010 and held several roles, including Head of Technology Delivery, Head of Technology Shared Services and IT Risk and Performance Manager, and Head of Technology Personal Lines, Credit Lines, and Claims. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing technology services, managing vendor relationships, improving portfolio processes, and aligning technology with business strategies. Graeme also led large-scale transformative programs and successfully delivered initiatives impacting front-line and back-office operations.
Wilson is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Hollard Insurance Australia, where they are accountable for all technology services.
Graeme Wilson received a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons, First Class) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Graeme also holds additional certifications, including MAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (expected to be obtained in 2022) and PRINCE2 Practitioner from AIPM (obtained in 2012).
