Andrew Cornett

Andrew Cornett is a Controls Engineer at Hollingsworth & Vose since February 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles, including Automation Engineer at Nucor Corporation from August 2013 to September 2022, where proficiency in RSLogix 5000 programming and interfacing HMIs with PLCs was demonstrated. Prior to this, Andrew completed two internships at BAE Systems, focusing on systems engineering and 3-D modeling for Ohio/Vanguard class nuclear submarines in 2011 and 2012. Academic qualifications include dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina Asheville, along with an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.
