Nicole Brown

Nicole Brown, CPA, CIA, CGMA, currently serves as the University Controller at Hollins University since March 2024. Previously, from September 2012 to July 2023, Nicole held various financial leadership roles at Le Moyne College, culminating in the position of Assistant Vice President of Finance, overseeing substantial operating and capital budgets and investigating new revenue streams. Additional experience includes roles at AXA US, where Nicole directed a ten-member team in accounting and reporting, and at Penn Traffic, managing financial reporting and compliance. Nicole began career development with positions at Boehringer Ingelheim, a public accounting firm, and various internships with the NYS Department of Tax & Finance and the Internal Revenue Service. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. and dual bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Le Moyne College.
