Bill Schindler began their work experience in 1982 as a Programmer/analyst at Ramada Inns Intl. Bill then worked as a Software engineer at Penobscot Research Center in 1985. From 1986 to 1996, they worked as an Independent Software consultant, specializing in compiler front-end, back-end, and code optimization. After that, they were a Partner at Abiliba Network Services, where they were responsible for the technical aspects of the servers and specialized software tools. In 1998, they joined The Groovy Corporation as an Independent Software Consultant. Lastly, in 2009, they became the Chief Software Architect at Holmes Corporation, where they worked on various web-based projects and online learning systems.
Bill Schindler attended the OGI School of Science & Engineering from 1991 to 1992, where they studied Computer Science. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1983, they attended the North American College of Data Processing and earned a Certificate in Data Processing, with a focus on Computer programming. In 1971 to 1972, they attended Missouri Valley College, where they studied Human Relations, Speech & Drama.
