Susan Hatten has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Susan started their career as a Marketing Research Associate at Iowa State University in 2003, where they focused on consumer marketing research for children. In 2004, they joined Sigler as a Senior Business Development & Sales Executive, responsible for relationship management and sales growth. During their time at Sigler, they also served as a Marketing and Public Relations Strategist, coordinating hybrid marketing solutions for clients.

In 2014, Susan moved on to Holmes Murphy & Associates as a Senior Consultant, Strategic Partnerships, where they worked on building strategic partnerships. Susan later transitioned to the role of Senior Manager; Corporate Community Engagement in 2018 before becoming the Chief Marketing Officer in 2021.

In 2020, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at BrokerTech Ventures, where they work closely with a leadership team and agencies in the broker-centric ecosystem, driving innovation and communication.

Throughout their career, Susan has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as creative services, marketing, strategy, design, print, fulfillment, procurement, and special events. Susan excels in building relationships with clients and fostering growth within existing client bases.

Susan Hatten obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing, Apparel Merchandising, Design & Production from Iowa State University from 2000 to 2004. Susan also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Specialized Sales, Merchandising, and Marketing Operations from Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business during the same period. Susan has additionally obtained certifications in Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist from The Hartford in January 2015, and in Wixsted Pope Nora Thompson & Associates Leadership Training from WPNT & Associates in May 2012.
