Lauren Garcia

Lauren Garcia is an experienced museum professional currently serving as a Collections Assistant and previously as an Archival Cataloging Fellow at Holocaust Museum LA since February 2022. Prior experience includes a Getty Marrow Repatriation Internship at Autry Museum of the American West, a Delivery Coordinator role at Berkeley Student Cooperative, and various research assistant positions at the University of California, Berkeley, including work with digital libraries, archaeological applications, and Paleolithic artifacts. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a minor in History of Art from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Associate's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, and Social and Behavioral Sciences from Moorpark College. Other roles include participation in the Belize Valley Archaeological Reconnaissance Project and employment as a barista at Starbucks.
