Brian McKenna

Brian McKenna has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2020, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Holon Solutions. Prior to that, they freelanced as a Web Developer. In 2019, they participated in a remote Full-stack Web Developer Training program with Thinkful, where they gained proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and associated frameworks. Notable projects during this time include developing a family organization app using React, Node, Express, and PostgreSQL.

From 2015 to 2019, Brian worked as a Systems Engineer at CompliancePoint, where they designed and implemented IT infrastructure for medical offices, managed support for care centers, and configured VoIP phone systems.

Before that, from 2006 to 2015, Brian McKenna was an IT/Application & Web Developer at KMA One. In this role, they designed and built VBA-based sales tools, landing pages, and provided tier II IT support.

In 2009, Brian co-founded Step Up, Altanta!, a charitable organization where they served as a Director until 2014.

Earlier in their career, from 2005 to 2006, Brian worked as a Project Manager at Global Business Solutions, managing the discovery and procurement team for real estate investment portfolios. Brian also developed and maintained a specialized database and created custom reports using Excel and Access.

Brian McKenna attended Georgia Southern University from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Computer Science. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, they attended Georgia State University Perimeter College, focusing on Information Technology and earning a degree in the same field.
