Benjamin Smith

Benjamin Smith is a skilled media professional with extensive experience in various roles within the communications and church sectors. Currently serving as a Media Specialist at Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church Foundation since April 2022, Benjamin previously worked as a Creative Director at SYNC Communications and held positions such as Director of Multimedia and Student Ministries Staff at Concord United Methodist Church. Beginning in 2016, Benjamin contributed to youth leadership and biblical instruction at Fountain City United Methodist Church. Additional experience includes a diverse role at Sam and Andy's Fountain City restaurant and an internship at the National Center for Computational Science, where Benjamin developed skills in web design and super-computing systems analysis. Benjamin holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Digital Media from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completed in 2020.
