Tom Buck

Tom Buck has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of pathology. Tom began their career as a Resident Physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where they also served as a Fellow in Hematopathology. In these roles, they gained expertise in various areas such as case workup, benign hematology, and communication with patient care teams.

Tom then joined Eastern Connecticut Pathology Consultants in 2012 as a Pathologist with subspecialty expertise in Hematopathology. Tom covered multiple hospitals and physician office laboratories, and also served as the Partner and Treasurer for the company.

In 2018, Tom joined Holyoke Medical Center, where they held multiple roles including Laboratory Medical Director and Department Chief, Pathology, and later becoming the Medical Staff President. Throughout their work experience, Tom has demonstrated leadership skills and a deep understanding of pathology.

Tom Buck earned a BA in English Literature and Economics from Rutgers College at Rutgers University between 1986 and 1991. Tom later obtained their MD in Medicine from the New Jersey Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry between 2003 and 2007. Additionally, Tom Buck received Board Certifications in Hematology and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from the American Board of Pathology, with the specific years of certification not provided.
