David Brown is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic development, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Since transitioning to retirement in October 2015, David Brown served in various roles including Mining Liaison for Central Highlands & Isaac Regional Councils, where coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments was key. As Director of Davbro Consulting Pty Ltd, expertise was provided in natural resource management and regional development. Notable positions also include Chief Executive Officer of Burnett Mary Regional Group, managing significant government assistance programs, and Principal State Development Officer at the Department of State Development and Innovation, which focused on business and industry development. David Brown holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from The University of Queensland.
