Jason Schmitz

Jason Schmitz is an experienced professional in sports management and landscaping, currently serving as a Finished Plant Buyer at Home Nursery, Inc. since July 2023. Previously, Jason coordinated officials for the Great River Athletic Conference and Mid-West Athletic Conference, managing game assignments, evaluations, and conflict resolution while also serving as a rule interpreter. Before that, Jason was the Athletics Grounds Supervisor at Greenville University, overseeing the maintenance of various athletic fields and managing the Grounds Maintenance budget. Jason's career began as a Landscape Supervisor at Three Way Creations, where expertise in horticulture was applied to design and install landscapes. Jason holds a degree in Horticulture with a focus on Landscape Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
