Mary Lee

Mary Lee, PhD, currently serves as a Program Assistant and Group Therapy Facilitator at Home of New Vision, a non-profit agency in Ann Arbor, MI, since March 2022. Prior to this role, Mary Lee was a Research Specialist at the University of Michigan Medical School from July 2013 to November 2022, focusing on the development of the organ of Corti and hearing loss through single cell transcriptomics and transgenic mouse models, and previously held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow investigating orphan nuclear receptors TR2 and TR4 in erythropoiesis. Mary Lee holds a Master of Social Work from Walden University (2022-2024) and a PhD in Molecular and Developmental Biology from the University of Cincinnati (2007-2013), along with two Master's degrees in Biology from Ball State University (2005-2007) and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Ball State University (2001-2005).
