Tom Bancroft

Tom Bancroft is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in developing and managing software solutions. Currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at Home Solutions since July 2023, Tom previously held the same title at Three Ships for a brief period in 2023. Tom's career also includes a role as Technical Specialist at Realis Simulation, where the focus was on transitioning desktop products to web and cloud platforms. Prior to this, Tom accumulated 25 years of experience at Ricardo, progressing through various roles from Project Engineer to Software Development Manager, where responsibilities included managing development teams and ensuring software quality. Tom began as a Student Engineer at Lotus Engineering while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, completed in 1997.
