Laura Garcia

Laura Garcia is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in software development and management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Homeday GmbH since February 2019, Laura has progressed through roles including Senior Software Engineer and Backend Developer. Prior experience includes software development roles at Growth Acceleration Partners, World Tech Makers, Ideaware Co, and Scorpion High Technology, as well as coaching and tutoring roles in the Rails Girls Summer of Code program. Laura started the career as a Computer Sciences Department Assistant at Universidad del Norte, complementing formal education with practical experience. Laura earned a degree in Ingeniera de Sistemas from Universidad del Norte, graduating in 2015.
