Jon Skarsten

Jon Skarsten is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analytics and finance. Currently serving as the Director of Data Analytics at HomeEquity Bank since October 2016, Jon leads the Data Science, Data Engineering, Reporting & Analytics, and Data Governance departments. Previously held roles include Senior Manager and Manager in Data Analytics, where Jon managed the Cloud Data Warehouse and data workflows. Prior experience at Cumberland Private Wealth Management Inc. involved investments in Canadian equities, focusing on Metals & Mining and Technology, Media & Telecom sectors. Co-founded and co-presided over the Nyantende Foundation, facilitating the enrollment of 250 children in schools in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Jon's academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Queen's University and the Norwegian School of Economics.
