James Kennedy

James Kennedy has extensive experience in training and security management with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Trainer at HSSI since February 2014, Kennedy focuses on clear communication and student safety during training. Prior experience includes roles such as Advanced Courses Training Manager at Professional Solutions, LLC, overseeing advanced courses for the US Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command, and Site Lead/Lead Instructor at Homeland Security Solutions Inc at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point. Additionally, Kennedy held positions as TLOTS Site Manager at L3 Communications, managing liaison operations for coalition forces in Afghanistan, and as a Security Contractor during Hurricane Katrina recovery. Kennedy began a career in law enforcement as a Police Officer for the City of Durham, NC, from 1995 to 2005. Educationally, Kennedy holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminology from Wake Technical College.
