Joel Gamoran

Joel Gamoran is the CEO/Founder of Homemade since August 2020. Joel previously worked at Sur La Table for over a decade, starting as a National Chef in October 2009 and eventually becoming the National Chef, Director of Culinary. Joel also held roles such as Senior Resident Chef and National Chef, Marketing Manager during their time there. Prior to that, Joel worked as an Author at HarperCollins Publishers from January 2018 to January 2019.

Joel Gamoran began their education at Seattle Academy, where they obtained their high school diploma in 2003. Joel then attended the University of Connecticut from 2003 to 2007 and earned a bachelor's degree in Restaurant/Food Services Management, with a minor in Communications. In 2007, Joel enrolled at The Culinary Institute of America, completing the ACAP program in Culinary Arts in 2008. Joel later pursued further culinary education at the Culinary Institute of Florence, Italy in 2008-2009, earning a culinary certificate in Cooking and Related Culinary Arts, General.
