Patrick Kurtz

Patrick Kurtz has a comprehensive work experience in various accounting and finance roles. Patrick is currently serving as the Manager of Client Accounts Payable at HomeRiver Group, overseeing three Accounts Payable teams and providing leadership in technology implementation and change management. Prior to this, they worked as an Accounts Payable Manager at StorageMart, where they led a team of nine and successfully implemented a cloud-based AP automation solution. Patrick also managed the implementation of an SAP Concur travel and expense management system. Additionally, they have experience as a Staff Accountant at Wilson Toellner CPA, where they specialized in tax and accounting services. Patrick served as the Director of Finance and Human Resources at BBB Group Inc., responsible for managing all corporate finance and HR activities. Patrick also worked at the University of Missouri-Columbia as a Business Support Specialist, handling fiscal and administrative tasks. Earlier in their career, they served as an Online Client Services Representative at MBS Textbook Exchange, LLC, and as an Office Manager at Fayette License Bureau.

Patrick Kurtz started their education at Prairie View High School, where they obtained a Diploma in General Education from 1990 to 1994. Patrick then attended Pittsburg State University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Management major and an Internal Audit minor. Patrick later pursued a Certificate in Internal audit from Pittsburg State University from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from William Woods University between 2011 and 2013.

Patrick Kurtz also holds several additional certifications. In 2017, they earned certifications as an Access Pro and Excel Pro from Credly. In 2018, they became a Quickbooks Online Certified ProAdvisor through Intuit. Patrick'smost recent certification is an Accredited Procure-to-Pay Manager, which they obtained from the Institute of Finance and Management in June 2022.
