Tamer Koksal

Tamer Koksal started their work experience in 2016 as a Freelancer, specializing in Data Science and Data Analysis. In 2018, they joined a Molecular Biology and Genetics Startup as a Web Developer/Bioinformatician. Tamer worked there until August 2019. In 2020, Tamer joined Homesearch as a Data Scientist, where they are currently employed.

Tamer Koksal earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science from Kent State University, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from the same institution, attending from 2003 to 2005. Tamer also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi/Middle East Technical University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Tamer has obtained several certifications. Some of these certifications include being an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), completed in November 2022. Tamer also completed an Introduction to Time Series Analysis certification from DataCamp in February 2018 and a Machine Learning course from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2017. Tamer has pursued various other certifications related to data analysis, statistics, programming, and computer science throughout the years.
