Brenda Thompson has a diverse work experience, primarily in the real estate industry. In 1993, they worked in human resources at Hadeler Sullivan Ewing. From 1997 to 2001, they were a business partner in the establishment and opening of medical and chiropractic clinics. In 1999, they transitioned to medical sales and marketing at Phymed. In 2002, Brenda became a REALTOR at Keller Williams Realty before ultimately starting their own real estate brokerage, Thompson - Realtors, in 2004. In this role, they earned numerous designations and honors. In 2011, Brenda launched the United Real Estate brand and served as Vice President and Regional Vice President until 2019. During this time, they grew the Dallas office to become the largest and most productive in the company. In 2017, Brenda joined the Advisory Board of Brokerage UP! and in 2019, they became the CEO and Managing Broker of HomeSmart Stars, where they achieved significant growth in agent productivity and revenue. Additionally, Brenda served as a Director on the Board of Directors for MetroTex Association of REALTORS from 2019 to 2023, overseeing significant milestones such as the construction of their new headquarters.
Brenda Thompson attended the University of Central Oklahoma from 1989 to 1993, where they studied Business. In terms of additional certifications, Brenda obtained various certifications including being a Certified Speaker, Mentor, Trainer, and Coach from the John Maxwell Team in 2019, a Certified Mentor from Buffini & Company in 2018, and a TRLP from the Texas Association of REALTORS® in 2015. Brenda also holds certifications such as CRS, ABR, ASR, GRI, SFR, TAHS, and e-PRO from various reputable institutions.
