Bill Walrath

Bill Walrath has over 23 years of experience in the insurance industry. Bill began their career in 1997 as a Life Insurance Agent for John Hancock Financial Services. In 1998, they joined Farmers Insurance and held several roles over the course of their tenure, including VP/Head of Sales Operations, VP/Head of Agency Performance, VP/Head of Southern California, VP/Head of Change Management, State Executive Director, Director - CA/TX Zone, Senior Division Manager, Life and Financial Specialist, and Claims Manager. In 2021, they became COO/Partner at MyLighthouse.co, where they advised on the building of a new insurance product and co-developed a technology solution for the US insurance industry. Currently, they are the Head of Managing General Agents at Buckle, where they are leading the development of Managing General Agent business throughout the United States and driving growth and profit in the auto insurance business.

Bill Walrath obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Bowling Green State University between 1992 and 1997. Bill also obtained five certifications: an Insurance Agent (Health, Property, Casualty) certification from the Oregon Division of Financial Regulation, Ohio Department of Insurance, Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, and California Department of Insurance in December 2021, and a LUTCF certification from NAIFA in February 2005.
