Jeremy Boyd

Jeremy Boyd has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Jeremy is currently working as the Vice President of Product Engineering at Homeward since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Product Engineering at Homeward from October 2021 to May 2022. Jeremy also served as the Head of Engineering at Homeward from August 2020 to September 2021.

Before their tenure at Homeward, Jeremy worked at HomeAway as a Senior Software Engineering Manager from March 2019 to August 2020. Jeremy also held the roles of Lead Software Engineer from August 2018 to February 2019 and Senior Software Engineer from August 2016 to August 2018 at HomeAway. In their role as a Senior Software Engineer, Jeremy was responsible for maintaining a legacy stack of APIs and developing the next generation of APIs built around microservices and loose coupling.

Jeremy's early work experience includes serving as a Lead Developer at Experiment Engine from January 2015 to August 2016. Prior to that, they worked at MapMyFitness - Under Armour Connected Fitness as a Senior Software Developer from January 2014 to January 2015 and as a Software Developer from May 2011 to December 2013. At MapMyFitness, Jeremy focused on building infrastructure for API integration and developing Android SDKs.

Jeremy began their career as a Software Developer/Analyst at the University of Texas at Austin from June 2008 to May 2011.

Jeremy Boyd attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Jeremy then pursued further education at The University of Texas at Austin and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2013 to 2016. Prior to their time at The University of Texas at Austin, Jeremy briefly attended Southern Methodist University from 2001 to 2002 and studied English and Philosophy.
