Ryo Nakahata is an Advanced Research Engineer at Honda Aircraft Company since June 2021, where expertise includes developing and validating automatic flight control systems to enhance Honda Jet's performance, utilizing model-based Simulink/MATLAB simulations and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Ryo previously conducted graduate research in optical sensing for feedback control at TU Dortmund University in 2019 and engaged in undergraduate research on optical sensing for incremental profile forming at the same institution in 2018. Earlier experiences include an internship at Nitto Denko Corporation in technology development and an internship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in the allergy and immunology department. Ryo holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from The Ohio State University.
