Marcelo Tanaka

Marcelo Tanaka is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in aircraft and systems safety. Currently serving as the Engineering Lead at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc., Marcelo has held various key positions in prominent organizations, including System Safety Engineer at Joby Aviation and Continued Operational Safety Specialist at Gulfstream Aerospace. With a solid foundation in engineering, Marcelo also worked as a consultant at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, RM&S Senior Engineering Specialist at Bombardier Aerospace, and System Safety Engineer at Embraer. Marcelo began the career as a Product Engineer at AmBev. Marcelo holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aerodynamics from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica and a Bachelor's degree from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
