Rich Richardson

Rich Richardson is a seasoned professional in human resources with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. since September 2017, Rich has progressed through various HR leadership roles within the company, including Vice President and Assistant Vice President. Prior to this, Rich held the position of Division Manager for Regional Planning at Honda North America, focusing on strategic development for the North American region. Rich's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President and Business Division Manager at Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, where the oversight encompassed multiple support functions for the manufacturing facility. Rich began a long tenure at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. in 1997, ultimately managing HR across three plant locations. Rich holds a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
