Tin Bui

Tin Bui is a Principal Engineer at American Honda Motor Company, Inc., since November 2015, overseeing product fuel economy and emissions certification, compliance, and negotiations with governmental bodies. Bui has extensive experience leading technical activities, particularly in On-Board Diagnostics (OBD). Previously, Bui served as an Assistant Manager, managing certification engineers across multiple product lines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Prior work experience includes a Senior Engineer role at Toyota Technical Center, where Bui focused on fuel economy planning and development, along with a teaching assistant position at California State University, Northridge, imparting knowledge on automotive engineering and design. Bui holds a Project Management Certification from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge.
