Kevin Kelly

Kevin Kelly has extensive experience in the education sector, holding various administrative and leadership roles over the years. Kevin is currently serving as the Executive Director at Honey Creek Community School since 2022. Prior to this, Kevin was the Superintendent at Camden Frontier School from 2020 to 2022, where they demonstrated decisive and proactive leadership during the pandemic, increased the fund balance, and successfully renewed the sinking fund millage. From 2014 to 2020, they served as the Superintendent at The Greenspire School. Additionally, Kevin has experience as the Executive Director at Water for Waslala, where they oversaw the organization's growth and managed strategic partnerships. Kevin has also worked as a Professional Development Specialist at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and held school administrator positions at Glen Lake Community and Van Buren Public Schools.

Kevin Kelly has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan, which they obtained from 1986 to 1989. In 1987 to 1988, they attended the University of Essex to study Comparative Government. Kevin later earned an Education Certification in Secondary Social Science from the University of Michigan from 1992 to 1994. Lastly, Kevin obtained a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Eastern Michigan University, which they completed from 2001 to 2006. Kevin also holds an Administrators Certification from the Michigan Department of Education, which they obtained in June 2018.
