Joey Palmowski

Joey Palmowski is an accomplished Systems Engineer IV at Honeybee Robotics since April 2018, with a strong background in software development as Co-Founder and Director of Software Development at Dashr, LLC from September 2016 to April 2018. Joey has extensive research experience, having served as a Graduate Research Assistant in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from January 2015 to April 2018, focusing on surgical robotics and defending a thesis on advanced robotic techniques. Prior research roles include a Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering Student Researcher at the University of South Florida, contributing to assistive technology in robotics and prosthetics, where Joey was involved in multiple research projects and clinical studies. Joey holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida (2008-2012).
