Mehrad Mehr

Mehrad Mehr, PhD, is a seasoned research and development professional with extensive experience in materials science and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as Lead R&D Scientist at Honeywell since January 2019, Mehr has held progressively senior research positions, including Senior R&D Scientist and Research Scientist. Prior experience includes a role as Research Scientist at Smartera Technologies Inc. and a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Florida. Additionally, Mehr completed a NEUP Fellow Internship at Brookhaven National Laboratory and served as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Virginia. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Materials Science and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, along with a Master's in Materials Science and a Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida and University of Virginia, respectively.
