Smita Khare

Smita Khare currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Honeywell, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Smita Khare was the Senior Vice President of Global Engineering and Chief Product Owner at Johnson Controls from October 2021 to July 2024. With extensive experience at Ford Motor Company from 2003 to 2021, Smita Khare held various senior positions, including Senior Director of Ford Smart Mobility and Chief Product Officer of Enterprise Connectivity, as well as Senior Vice President of Global Infrastructure Operations. Earlier career experience includes architectural and technology management roles for several clients, including NIIT, Citibank, Marsh & McLennan, and DTE, from 1989 to 2003. Smita Khare earned a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Engineering and Technology, graduating in 1989.
