Lawrence J. Lim

Lawrence J. Lim is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment banking. Currently serving as Managing Director of Private Equity at EmergeVest since March 2021, Lawrence specializes in sourcing and executing direct investments while overseeing portfolio management and acting as a Responsible Officer. Concurrently, Lawrence holds positions as a Director on the Board of Directors for EV Cargo and as a Director for the Private Equity sector at the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. Previously, Lawrence spent several years at Deutsche Bank as Head of Transportation and Logistics Investment Banking in Asia and as Vice President in Consumer & Retail Mergers & Acquisitions. With prior roles at Nomura, UBS, and Wells Fargo, Lawrence brings a wealth of expertise across various sectors including supply chain, consumer retail, and leveraged finance. Lawrence earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
