Cherrie Lai

Cherrie Lai is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in contract management and legal advisory roles across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Manager at Hongkong Land Limited since July 2021, Cherrie previously held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at SUEZ NWS Greater China, where responsibilities included contract review and negotiation for environmental projects across East Asia, corporate document preparation, and external law firm coordination. Cherrie's career also includes legal counsel roles at Gammon Construction Limited and Arup, focusing on contracts, legal training, and employment issues. The initial phase of Cherrie's career involved trainee solicitor responsibilities at Kamberley Solicitors and engineering roles at Mouchel and Halcrow. Cherrie holds an MEng in Civil Engineering from UCL and various legal qualifications from BPP Law School and Lex Ominbus Limited.
